Solothurn is centrally located between Bern, Basel and Zurich. Itâs easy to reach by car or public transport.Â
Solothurn is considered Switzerlandâs finest baroque town. Characterised by architecture dating from the period of the ambassadors of the French royal family (1530â1792), it is sometimes known as the âambassadorsâ townâ. Solothurn combines Italian grandeur with French charm and the down-to-earth quality of German-speaking Switzerland.
Bioceramics33 will take place at the Landhaus Solothurn. The Landhaus is located in the heart of Solothurn, directly on the Aare River, which divides the small baroque town into a northern and southern section. Today’s Landhaus was built in the 18th century and was in earlier times the landing place for wine transports and thus one of the most important trading places of the city and region of Solothurn.
